Paid means the charge was completed: the buyer's payment method approved the transaction and the amount was recorded in your favor. It's the status that confirms a sale.

What it means

  • The money is already part of your Conekta balance, first as pending balance and then as available balance.
  • The buyer received their receipt at the email entered during checkout.
  • The transaction will be included in your next payout according to your schedule.

What you can do

  • Deliver: Paid is the safe signal to deliver the product or provide the service.
  • View the details: on the payment's detail page, you'll see the fee breakdown and the associated payout.
  • Resend the receipt: if the buyer didn't receive it, you can resend it from the same details page.

Possible next status

A Paid payment usually doesn't change anymore. The exceptions: it changes to Refunded if you return the money, or it's linked to a chargeback if the buyer disputes the charge with their bank. In both cases, you'll see it reflected in the transaction's activity.
