Your balance is the money from your sales that Conekta has already processed and manages for you until it's deposited into your bank account. Understanding it helps you know how much you'll receive, when, and why the figure changes from one day to the next.
How your balance builds up
Every time a payment is confirmed, its amount goes into your balance. From there, the money goes through two states:
- Pending: the payment has been confirmed, but it's still within the processing period and can't be deposited yet.
- Available: the money has finished processing and is ready to be included in your next payout.
What can change it
Your balance doesn't only grow with sales: it's also reduced by the fees on each transaction, the refunds you issue, the chargebacks you receive, and any adjustments Conekta applies. When a payout is made, the deposited amount comes out of your available balance.
Where to check it
