All Conekta reports share a set of base columns. Understanding them lets you cross-reference information between reports and with your own systems without guessing what each field means. This glossary covers the common columns; each report adds columns specific to its topic.

Identifiers

  • Transaction ID: the unique identifier Conekta assigns to each payment, refund, or chargeback. It is the key for cross-referencing reports with each other and for any inquiry with Support.
  • Reference or order: the data your store or system sent when creating the charge. It is the key for matching the transaction to your sale.

Dates

  • Creation date: when the transaction was generated (for example, when the customer started the payment).
  • Payment or settlement date: when the money was confirmed. For methods such as cash or bank transfer, it may be days after creation.

Amounts

  • Gross amount: what your customer paid, before deductions.
  • Fee and taxes: what Conekta deducts for processing the transaction, with the VAT (IVA) broken out.
  • Net amount: what is added to your balance: gross minus fees and taxes. It is the amount you will see reflected in your payouts.

Status and method

  • Status: the state of the transaction when the report was generated (paid, pending, declined, refunded…).
  • Payment method: how the customer paid: card, bank transfer, cash, wallet, or financing.
