From the Partner Center, you can start the registration of a new business and guide it until its account is active. The key to the flow is follow-up: the portfolio view tells you at all times what each account still needs to move forward.

Before you start

  • Have the business's basic details ready: name or legal name, the contact person's email, and line of business.
  • Let the business know that it will receive emails from Conekta to complete its information and upload documents.

Steps

  1. Start the sign-up

In the Partner Center accounts view, choose the option to create a new account and enter the business's basic details. The contact person will receive an email to take over their registration.

  2. Guide the onboarding

The business completes its commercial, legal, and banking information and uploads its documents. You see the progress from your portfolio without having to sign in to their account.

  3. Identify what's pending

Each account shows its status — in progress, under review, additional information required, approved — along with details of what's missing. Filter your portfolio by status to find stalled accounts.

  4. Unblock and confirm activation

If an account requires additional information, let the business know what it needs to correct or upload again. When the review is complete, the status changes to approved and the account can start accepting payments.

Common issues

The account hasn't moved forward in days

Check the status details: there's almost always an illegible document or a detail that doesn't match. The business can see the exact cause in its own Conekta Panel.

Next step

Once the account is active, follow its operations in How to check the performance of my accounts.
