An invoice with an incorrect RFC, legal name, tax regime, or amounts is no good for your accounting. It can be corrected, but corrections are subject to tax deadlines: identify the type of error and report it promptly.

First, identify the type of error

The tax details are wrong (RFC, legal name, tax regime, ZIP code)

Check which details your account has on file: if they're outdated, first correct them by following How to update my tax information and then request reissuance of the invoices for the affected period. If the account details are correct and the invoice came out different, report it directly as an issuance error.

The amounts don't match my reports

Before reporting, check the cutoff dates: the periods on the invoice and in your report must be identical. If the difference persists with the same period, put together the comparison (subtotal, VAT, and the operation details) and report it.

An invoice is missing or arrived twice

Check in the Conekta Panel whether the document exists in the history. If it doesn't appear a few business days after the period closes, or if there are two CFDIs for the same period, report it so the missing one can be issued or the duplicate canceled.

What to include in your report

  • The fiscal folio (UUID) of the affected invoice.
  • The invoiced period and the incorrect detail or amount, with the expected correct value.
  • Your current tax status certificate (constancia de situación fiscal) if the error is in the tax details.
  • The comparison against your reports if the error is in the amounts.

What to expect

Support routes your case to the billing team; you'll receive a tracking number and, if applicable, the corrected invoice (with the corresponding cancellation or credit note) in your history in the Conekta Panel. Full guide to the process in How to contact the Conekta Support team.
