A payout's status summarizes where your money is on its way from the cutoff to your bank account. This guide explains each status, how long it usually lasts, and what action is up to you.

Payout statuses

  • Scheduled: the payout has an assigned cutoff date and accumulates the available balance for the period. The amount can change until the cutoff. No action required.
  • In progress: the cutoff has already happened and Conekta is calculating the net amount and preparing the bank transfer. This usually takes a few hours within the same business day.
  • Sent: the SPEI transfer has been sent to your bank. It usually shows up in your account the same business day; keep the reference to trace it if it takes longer.
  • Paid: the receiving bank confirmed the deposit. The cycle is complete; the amount is no longer part of your balance.
  • Failed: the bank transfer couldn't be completed — for example, because of an invalid or blocked destination account. The money returns to your balance and is either retried or held until you correct the bank account.
  • Canceled: the payout was voided before it was sent, for example because of a bank account change in progress or an account review. The amount stays in your balance and is included in a later cutoff.

Expected next status

The normal flow is Scheduled → In process → Sent → Paid, all within 1 to 2 business days from the cutoff. Failed and Canceled are detours that return the money to your balance; they never lose it.
