A payout with failed status means the transfer to your bank couldn't be completed. Your money isn't lost: it returns to your Conekta balance and is sent again once the cause is fixed. This guide helps you identify the reason and unblock the deposit.

Check the cause in the Conekta Panel

En Panel Conekta: Balances → Payouts

Open the payout marked as failed and review the reason shown in its details. It is almost always related to the destination bank account.

Most common causes

The CLABE is invalid or the account was closed

Check the registered CLABE digit by digit and confirm with your bank that the account is still active. If it changed, register the new account before the next attempt.

The account isn't in the name of the Conekta account holder

Deposits are only sent to accounts in the name of the registered individual or legal entity. Replace the account with one that matches your legal information.

The receiving bank rejected the transfer

Some banks reject transfers due to restrictions on the account itself (blocks, deposit limits). Ask your bank about the cause and, if necessary, use another account.

You changed accounts and validation is still pending

A newly registered account goes through validation before it can receive funds. Wait for it to show as validated in the Conekta Panel; sending resumes automatically.

Request a new attempt

  1. Fix the bank account

Update or replace the destination account from the bank settings in the Conekta Panel, depending on the cause you found.

  2. Confirm the account was validated

Validation is usually resolved within 1 to 2 business days. The account must show as validated before it can receive deposits.

  3. Wait for the resend or request it from Support

Once the account is fixed, the amount is included as usual in the next payout cycle. If several days have passed without a retry, ask Support to resend it, providing the payout ID.

Next step

To avoid future failures, check How to register my bank account and confirm that your bank details match your legal information.
