Your balance changes every day due to entries that add and entries that subtract. Knowing them lets you read the history in the Conekta Panel without surprises and spot any figure that doesn't add up in time.
Entries that add
- Confirmed payments: every sale charged by card, bank transfer, cash, or any other method goes into your balance once it's confirmed.
- Credit adjustments: corrections Conekta applies when a previous deduction turned out to be larger than it should have been.
Entries that subtract
- Fees: the per-transaction cost is deducted from the amount of each payment; that's why the net amount you receive is less than the gross amount sold.
- Refunds: when you refund a payment, the amount comes out of your available balance.
- Chargebacks: if a buyer disputes a charge, the amount is held or deducted while the case is resolved.
- Debit adjustments: operational corrections, for example for an amount overpaid in a previous period.
- Payouts: each deposit to your bank reduces the available balance by the amount transferred.
Where to see each entry
En Panel Conekta: Balance → Transactions
The history shows each entry with its date, type, amount, and the transaction that originated it. You can filter by period and by type to review, for example, only the refunds for a month.
