Every person who logs in to the Conekta Panel does so with a role, and the role defines what they can see and do. Assigning roles correctly protects your account: no one should be able to do more than their job requires.

The roles and what each one allows

  • Administration: full access. Views and operates everything, manages users and roles, and changes the account's sensitive settings, such as banking and business information. Reserved for the people responsible for the account.
  • Operations: manages day-to-day charges: creating payment links, viewing operations, issuing refunds, and handling problem payments. Does not manage users or touch the account settings.
  • Finance: views balance, payouts, reports, and invoices to reconcile and keep the books. Does not create charges or issue refunds.
  • Read-only: views information without changing anything. Useful for audits, management, or people who only need visibility.

How to decide which role to assign

Start with the most limited role that lets the person do their job, and raise it only if they're missing something specific. It's much easier to expand a permission than to catch excess access in time.

To add someone from your team, follow How to invite a user to my account; to adjust existing access, see How to change a user's role or permissions.
