With a single Conekta account, you can offer your customers several ways to pay. The more options you enable, the fewer sales you lose: each customer chooses the method that suits them, and you see everything unified in the Conekta Panel.

The available methods

  • Credit and debit cards: the most widely used method in online commerce; includes the option of interest-free installments (MSI) with participating banks.
  • SPEI bank transfer: the customer transfers from their online banking to a unique reference; ideal for large amounts.
  • Cash: the customer receives a reference and pays at convenience stores and participating chains; it opens your business to customers without cards.
  • Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay let customers pay with a tap from their phone, without typing in their card.
  • Installment payments and financing: options such as Aplazo or Creditea, where the customer pays in installments and you receive your money.
  • Direct bank payment: charges from the customer's online banking, such as Pago Directo BBVA or Coppel Pay.

What a method's availability depends on

Not all methods apply in every case. Availability depends on three factors:

  • The product you use: a Payment Link, Checkout, or an API integration may offer different sets of methods.
  • Your account settings: some methods are activated during onboarding and others are enabled upon request.
  • Your line of business and business profile: certain methods require additional validations before they're activated.
