A Payment Link is a URL you generate from the Conekta Panel to charge a specific amount. Your customer opens the link, chooses how to pay, and completes the transaction on a secure payment page — without you needing a website or writing any code.
Why it's useful
- You can collect payments in minutes, with no technical integration.
- It works wherever you already talk to your customers: WhatsApp, email, social media.
- Your customer can pay by card, cash, or bank transfer, depending on your settings.
- Each payment is recorded in the Conekta Panel like any other transaction.
How it works
When you create the link, you set the amount, the description, and the expiration. Conekta generates the URL and you share it. When the customer pays, the transaction status is updated in the Conekta Panel and the money goes into your balance like any other sale, ready for your next payout.
Example
A flower shop receives a MXN $850 order via WhatsApp. It creates a link with the description "Spring arrangement — order 1042", sends it in the same chat, and the customer pays by card. The transaction appears as Paid and the flower shop confirms the delivery.
