You can change the bank account where you receive your payouts from the Conekta Panel. Because it's the destination of your money, the change goes through additional validations and may include a security period before it takes effect.
Before you start
- You need a user with the administrator role or permissions over the banking settings.
- The new account must be in the name of the same holder registered with Conekta (the same individual or legal entity).
- Have the 18-digit CLABE and a recent bank statement for the new account at hand.
Steps
En Panel Conekta: Settings → Bank account
Open the bank settings
Go to the bank account section of the Conekta Panel and choose the option to update the deposit account.
Enter the new CLABE
Type the full CLABE and check the bank the Panel detects automatically. A single wrong digit sends the deposit to another account or causes the validation to fail.
Attach the proof
Upload the bank statement or bank document showing the CLABE and the holder's name. It must match the legal information on your Conekta account.
Confirm the change
Review the summary and confirm. For security, the Panel may ask for your password or your two-step verification code.
Expected result
The new account remains under validation while Conekta verifies ownership; the process usually takes 1 to 2 business days. During a security period, your payouts may keep arriving at the previous account or be briefly paused until the validation is complete.
Next step
Confirm that the account is active with How to confirm that my bank account was validated.
