Every bank transfer payment has unique details: the CLABE or reference that Conekta generates identifies that transaction and no other. Sharing them in full and unchanged is all you need for the payment to show up automatically.
Before you start
Find the transaction in your Conekta Panel: in the payment details you'll find the CLABE or reference, the amount, and the expiration date.
En Panel Conekta: Payments → Payment details
Steps
Copy the details from the Conekta Panel
Use the copy option in the payment details instead of typing them by hand. A single wrong digit in the CLABE sends the money to an account that doesn't belong to the transaction.
Share the CLABE, amount, and expiration date together
Send the buyer all three details in the same message: which CLABE to transfer to, the exact amount, and the deadline to pay. This prevents late transfers or transfers for different amounts.
Ask them not to change anything
The buyer must enter the CLABE and the amount exactly as given. They shouldn't round the amount, split the payment into several transfers, or reuse the CLABE from a previous purchase.
Confirm the payment arrived
When the bank transfer settles, the transaction will change to Paid in your Conekta Panel. You don't need to ask for proof of payment if the status has already changed.
Next step
If the buyer already made the transfer and the payment isn't showing, see The customer made a bank transfer, but the payment doesn't appear.
