With installment payments, your buyer finances their purchase with a specialized provider — such as Aplazo or Creditea — and pays it off in installments. You don't grant the credit or collect the monthly payments: the provider takes on that relationship and you receive the sale as just another payment.
How it works
- The buyer chooses financing: in the checkout, they select the option to pay in installments with the available provider.
- The provider evaluates and approves: credit approval depends solely on the provider — its rules, the buyer's history, and the amount. Neither your business nor Conekta is involved in that decision.
- The purchase is confirmed: if the provider approves, the transaction is recorded as paid and you can deliver the product or service.
- The buyer pays in installments: their biweekly or monthly payments are made to the provider, not to you.
How it's reflected for your business
- The transaction appears in your Conekta Panel with its payment method identified, within the same payments list.
- You receive the sale amount according to your normal payout cycle; the provider assumes the risk of the installments.
- Refunds are handled on the transaction in Conekta, and the provider adjusts the credit with the buyer.
