During a general incident, there isn't much you can do to speed up the fix — the Conekta team is already working on it. What you can do is protect your operation so that the return to normal is clean and free of surprises.

Steps

  1. Follow the incident updates

Keep an eye on status.conekta.io: each incident posts updates on its progress and when it's resolved. That's where you'll find out first when it's over.

  2. Avoid duplicate actions

Don't retry charges or bulk operations while the outage lasts: some may have been recorded even if you don't see the confirmation, and they could be duplicated once service is restored.

  3. Keep the IDs of affected operations

Write down the IDs, amounts, and times of everything you attempted during the incident. That list is your starting point for checking statuses once service recovers.

  4. Set expectations with your customers

Let them know it's a temporary interruption of the payment processor and offer to retry later or use another available method. A clear message prevents cancellations and complaints.

When the incident is marked as resolved, take a few minutes to verify your operations from the affected period before getting back to your normal pace.
