The chargeback detail brings together in a single view everything you need to evaluate the case: the original operation, the customer's details, the reason for the dispute, and the effect on your balance. Reviewing it fully is the first step before accepting or responding.

Steps

  1. Open the chargeback

Select the case in the list to open its detail view.

  2. Review the original payment and the customer

The detail links to the disputed operation: date, amount, payment method, and the customer details captured at the time of the charge. Compare this information with your own sales and delivery records.

  3. Identify the reason, amount, and status

    • Reason: the category reported by the bank, for example unrecognized charge or product not received. It determines what evidence is best to submit.
    • Disputed amount: it can be the full payment or only part of it.
    • Status and deadline: what stage the case is in and how much time is left to act.
  4. Check documents and financial movements

In the same detail you'll see the documents attached to the case — any evidence you submit will be stored there — and the movements the chargeback generated in your balance, such as the hold on the disputed amount.

Expected result

With the full detail you can answer three questions: Do I recognize this operation? What evidence do I have? How much time do I have left? Those answers guide your decision.
