Running subscriptions has two parts: defining the billing plans and adding the customers who subscribe to them. This guide covers the general operational flow.

Before you start

  • Your account must be active for live charges.
  • Define the plans you'll offer: amount, frequency, and a name the customer will recognize.
  • The customer needs a payment method that supports recurring charges, usually a card.

Steps

  1. Create the plan

Add the plan with its amount and frequency. The plan name appears on the charges, so use a descriptive one — for example, the name of your service and the cycle.

  2. Subscribe the customer

Register the customer with their payment method and assign them to the plan. From then on, the charges for each cycle are created automatically.

  3. Track the charges

Each renewal appears as another payment in the Conekta Panel, linked to the customer and the plan. Review failed charges regularly so you can act in time.

Expected result

Each subscribed customer generates an automatic charge per cycle, visible in the Conekta Panel with its receipt. You only step in when a charge fails or when the customer asks for a change.
